Singapore Silent Heroes Student Awards

The school is proud to announce that three MJR students were conferred this award which recognizes students' altruistic actions by the Civilians Association (Singapore).  The awards were presented to them by Ms Jasmin Lau, Minister of State in the Ministry of Digital Development and Information, and Ministry of Education in a ceremony at former SPRING Singapore auditorium on 23 May 2026.

Congratulations to our student recipients:

1.      Alicia Chia Xin En for showing consistent support, care and concern to peers as a class leader

2.      Brien Yeo Xing Yong as a National Education ambassador who played an active role in supporting several key school events that fostered awareness, unity, and appreciation for others.

3.      You Tian Yi for championing integration efforts for newly arrived international students at the school

By acknowledging their acts of kindness, the award aims to inspire more individuals to contribute positively, thereby nurturing a culture of generosity for future generations.  Manjusri Sec was one of the first five schools to participate in this student recognition scheme when it was launched in 2023 and has since grown to encompass 81 schools.
