MJR Clinched 1st Position In Chips@School Competition

Our Applied Learning Programme trained up 3 teams from our Secondary Two cohort to take part in the Chips@School competition, organised by Infineon Technologies. On 27 August 2018, one of the teams that qualified for the finals, competed against 9 other teams from 6 different schools, all vying for the top 3 positions. The theme for this year’s event is “Green Energy for Today and Tomorrow”, which focuses on creating sustainable energy solutions for a better future.

The top 10 teams had to present their project proposals to a panel of judges. For their innovation, creativity and engaging presentation skills, Manjusri Team 3, clinched the 1st position. For their outstanding performance, the team receives the top cash prize of $1,000. In addition, the winning team will be given the opportunity to collaborate with Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD) & engineers from Infineon Technologies to conceptualize their design into a physical prototype.
