GCE O Level Examination 2018 Results

The MJR community congratulates the graduating class of 2018 on achieving the best performance at the GCE O level examinations of the past five years (based on aggregate overall indicators).  Our Sec 4 Express stream candidates performed above expectations with 96.8% eligible for Polytechnic courses and 77.6% able to apply for ‘A’ level studies (JC/CI).   Our Sec 5 Normal (Academic) candidates performed within expectations to attain value-added results.  70% of them qualify to apply for Polytechnic studies.

We are pleased to report that the pass rate for the Express course exceeded the national average benchmark in 11 subjects.  At the same time, distinction rates improved in 13 subjects.   In the Normal course, the pass rate for 7 subjects were above the national average.

In the aftermath of the release of results, the MJR Alumni Association sponsored an ice-cream treat for all current students and staff in celebration of the achievement.  We thank our Alumni Association for the kind gesture.

The school wishes our graduates the best in their future studies and endeavours.  We hope that all Manjusrians will take inspiration from the hard work and achievement of MJR’s class of 2018.
